The Grounds of Alexandria

Visiting The Grounds of Alexandria – which even further back, in the 1920s, was an industrial precinct – feels like you’ve tumbled down the rabbit hole into a pretty playground of life’s simplest pleasures. The acre of land is made up of various old worldly sheds, beautiful gardens and things to see and do.

The Grounds’ Garden is overflowing with an abundance of greenery and florals and is our largest event space consisting of three areas; the Gazebo, the Arbour and the Patio. A crumbling brick wall covered with creeping vines and a generous scattering of fairy lights provides the perimeter for the Garden that offers both an urban sanctuary & a beautiful event space. Adaptable to host a multitude of events from wedding celebrations to corporate parties, it is a vast space with the potential to be elegantly transformed in line with your creative vision. The Garden includes an outdoor dance floor space, ceremony space and an alfresco bar. The possibilities are endless, and they can help you develop, plan and put into place the perfect event for any occasion.
